As for our wonderful rescue kids who need you
. . .

 Our adult boy Jim is a positively fabulous dogs who is still seeking his forever home.  Dear Jim has been with us for awhile.  And, yes, we know Jim is a pit bull mix, and it seems that the prejudice against this breed keeps following him.  Jim is truly one of the loveliest adult dogs to come through this rescue.  He is as sweet as can be, loves people, and gets along great with other dogs.   If he looked like a retriever, he would have been adopted a long time ago.... Yet, this boy could not possibly be a more gentle and wonderful dog.  So, please, think about giving Jim a chance.  He was a favorite at the shelter in South Carolina where he had been dumped, sick & underfed.  Our shelter/rescue friends there nursed Jim back to health and then promoted him to us because they were so in love with him and wanted to be sure he would have a good life.  Please don't miss out on this wonderful, wonderful dog due to the prejudice that comes with stereotyping.

As for our available puppies, Sophie's last baby, little Johnny Harris, is still seeking his forever home.  He is a delightful, handsome little man.  And we also have Billy-Bob who is a great little doxie mix boy.  Please don't leave these cuddle-bugs behind.

Also, stay tuned for our beautiful spaniel mix pups -- our L Litter.

Finally, welcome the newest additions to our Safe At Last family:

Lovely Lady Lola, the spaniel mom of the L Litter. Lola is a laid back, darling girl who gets along with everyone;

Mason, a 5-6 month old gorgeous golden mix boy.  He is a happy, playful young man who always seems to be sporting a golden smile; and

Miracle, a young beagle/catahoula girl, who lives up to her name -- and what a total love-bug she is.

Please check out their bios... and, if you are interested in adopting and making THE difference for any of our precious fur-kids, please
register with us and then fill out an on-line adoption application.  If you have any questions, please email us at info@safeatlast.net.  We are happy to assist.

As always, many thanks for your interest in all of our rescues - young and old.  All of these fur-babies deserve the best life has to offer, & our wonderful adopters give them that chance.  While saving the life of one dog does not change the whole world, it surely does change the world for the one you save.

Thank you for helping us save shelter pets, one life at a time.  Smile

ATTENTION ADOPTERS!

We very much appreciate your interest in our rescue babies.  Without you, we would not be able to send these precious fur-kids to loving forever homes & continue to provide safe haven for other shelter animals in need.

We also hope you understand that, for the protection of the animals in our care, all prospective adopters must go through our application review & approval process.

The process is fully explained under "Adoption Info" (on the lefthand side of our home page).  First, you must register (by clicking "Register" on the bottom lefthand side of our home page).  A password will be sent to your email account.  When you log back on to our website (using your user name and password), you can then access the online adoption application by clicking "Forms/Applications" (directly under "Website Features" on the lefthand side of our home page).  Then, click "Adoption/New,"  complete the form, and click submit.

Once we have your completed application, a volunteer will be in touch to confirm receipt and keep you updated as we proceed with the review.  Please understand that all of our animals are being fostered in private homes.  Therefore, only AFTER you are approved will you be invited to meet the animals.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.  We also thank you for helping us save shelter pets, one life at a time. Of course, if you have any difficulty along the way, or have any questions, please email us at info@safeatlast.net.  We are always happy to assist, and, again, we thank you for your interest in our rescue babies.
