Meet Joey Harris, one of Momma Sophie Harris' babies.  Joey and his siblings (also available for adoption on our website) are adorable pups -- they are "chiweenies" and have made their way to us all the way from KY.  All of these pups are friendly, social, playful, engaging, and over-the-top adorable!! 

If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to one of these babies for his/her whole life - no matter what may lie ahead in yours - please register with us (on www.safeatlast.net).  When you receive your password on your email account, then log back on to our website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application.  Once we have your application, we will contact you by email to set up a phone interview to commence the review process -- so please check your filters and spam!! 

Our process is very straightforward, but does involve a phone interview, reference checks (i.e., vet reference, if applicable, and personal references), and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $350 & a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law) also apply.  100% of the adoption fee goes back to the rescue to pay for vetting, meds, transport fees and other necessary items for the many dogs that we take into our care.  We are all volunteers and none of us takes anything (not one cent) -- 100% of all fees goes back to the rescue to care for our animals.
