Meet Chase from our litter of sweet “Dachsador Pups.”  All of his siblings have adoptions pending and will be going to their forever homes soon.  So, foster mommy has promised Chase to make an extra special effort to find him his perfect family... 

Chase is a black lab/dachshund mix -- but he looks predominantly lab, as shown by both his size and body structure (including normal length lab legs and stout frame).  Currently (10/19), he is about 18 lbs, and we expect (though cannot guarantee)that he will be on the upper end of medium to the lower end of large when full grown (~60-70 lbs).

Beyond being adorable, Chase is a sweetheart of a pup and EXTREMELY people-oriented. He absolutely LOVES attention & is always ready for hugs and kisses.  He also loves to play, with his toys, his people and other pups.  He has a lovely temperament and is always up for a romp in the yard, a game of tug, or some snuggling.  While Chase is a happy, playful little man, he also settles down quite nicely for lots of loving.  If you are seeking a social, affectionate, playful, outgoing pup who would love to be included in day-to-day family life, Chase could be the one for you!

If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to Chase – for his whole life – no matter what may lie ahead in yours, please register on www.safeatlast.net (click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage).  When you receive your password on your email account, then log back on to our website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application (click Forms/Applications on the left-hand side of our homepage).  Once we have your SAFE AT LAST adoption application, we will contact you by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $ 375, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Chase is being fostered in a private home; we do not have a centralized facility.  THEREFORE, YOU CANNOT MEET HIM UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR ADOPTION, & YOU CANNOT BE CONSIDERED UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE SAFE AT LAST ADOPTION APPLICATION.  WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE APPLICATIONS OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING PETFINDER, ADOPT-A-PET, ALLPAWS, ETC.  Delay in submitting the Safe at Last adoption application will put you at a disadvantage, since we review applications in the order received.

FINALLY, ADOPTERS ARE REQUIRED TO COME TO THE FOSTER HOME (IN FULTONHAM, NY) TO COMPLETE THE ADOPTION.  WE DO NOT DELIVER OR SHIP OUR RESCUE ANIMALS.
