Meet Nana's puppy Alice, from her litter of 8 beautiful babies!!  Born 12/30/21, these little hound mix cuties are just shy of 10 weeks old.  We expect, though CANNOT GUARANTEE, that these babies will be in the 40 to 60 lb range when full grown.   

These babies were born in foster care in NC, and they are now in foster care in NY.   They are doing great – happy, healthy, playful, social.  These sweet pups will be ready to go their forever homes as of  2/27/22. 

They are socialized with other dogs and cats.  Fine with kids, but typical puppies who will need direction not to jump and use their sharp teeth on humans.  As is the case with all puppies, they will need continued basic training to lead them to become good adult canine citizens.  If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to one of these babies for life, please apply with us!

To pursue adoption, please register on www.safeatlast.net.  (Click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage.)  When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the SAFE AT LAST on-line adoption application.  (Click Forms/Application on the left-hand side of our homepage and select the Adoption Application.) Once we have your completed application, if we feel you are a good match, we will contact you by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  (So, please check your SPAM.)  Our process is straightforward but involves the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $450, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit, also apply.

YOU CANNOT MEET THE PUPS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT.  WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ON-LINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.  Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other potentially suitable applicants.  Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home (in Worcester NY, Otsego County) to complete the adoption.
