Meet Wolf from our litter of Husky/Shepherd mix pups.  He, along with siblings Moose, Blizzard, Grizzly, Nugget, Tundra and Copper, came to us from Ohio.  All of these pups are positively stunning-looking; they are also very out-going, people-oriented babies.  Right now (11/7), the pups are about 10 weeks old & weigh between 8 and 12 lbs.  We expect (though cannot guarantee) that they will be medium in size when full grown.

As for Wolf, he is a gorgeous pup, with his beautiful gray & white husky markings & gray/blue eyes.  He, like his sibs, is a happy pup.  He loves to play and romp around in the yard, but he also loves people-attention.  Wolfie likes it when foster mom engages him by playing with a ball or rope toy for a game of tug.  He also loves getting hugs and kisses & would love to share his love with a family of his very own.

If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to Wolfie – for his whole life – no matter what may lay ahead in yours, please register on www.safeatlast.net (click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage).  When you receive your password on your email account, then log back on to our website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application (click Forms/Applications on the left-hand side of our homepage).  Once we have your SAFE AT LAST adoption application, we will contact you by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  (SO, PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL, INCLUDING YOUR SPAM FOLDER.)  Our process is very straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $ 375, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

These pups are being fostered in a private home; we do not have a centralized facility.  THEREFORE, YOU CANNOT MEET THEM UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR ADOPTION, & YOU CANNOT BE CONSIDERED UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE SAFE AT LAST ADOPTION APPLICATION.  WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE APPLICATIONS OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING PETFINDER, ADOPT-A-PET, ALLPAWS, ETC.  Delay in submitting the Safe at Last adoption application will put you at a disadvantage, since we review applications in the order received.

FINALLY, ADOPTERS ARE REQUIRED TO COME TO THE FOSTER HOME (IN FULTONHAM, NY) TO COMPLETE THE ADOPTION.  WE DO NOT DELIVER OR SHIP OUR RESCUE ANIMALS.
