Iris is a beautiful little girl who is ready for her forever home.  Our best assessment is that she is about 6 months old  and is a Shiba Inu mix (possibly with Basenji??).  While we are not sure about her breed mix, we are sure that Iris is truly a love bug and a half.  She is around 12 lbs right now, and she will be a small dog when fully grown.

Iris loves to be with her people or outside exploring and running in the yard.  She is a very bright young lady and is doing well on her potty-training.  She loves riding in the car and does very well on a harness and leash.   She also gets along very well with her foster siblings; and she is a great “bed warmer,” as she loves to crawl under the covers at night and snuggle up against you. 

Iris does have a condition where one of her eyes is smaller than the other.  There is nothing that can be done for this; but Iris doesn’t care -- having one smaller eye does not affect her in the slightest.  She is a very happy girl, she can see just fine, and she loves to take walks and explore her surroundings.  Iris is also up-to-date on her shots.  So, she’s all ready to share her life with a loving family of her very own.
