This is sweet, adorable and very lovable little Trina. Trina is a beautiful black and tan Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and is cute as a little cupcake. Currently (3/4), she is approximately 1 year old & weighs in at about 12 lbs.
Trina came to us from our wonderful rescue friends in Ohio. They rescued Trina, along with many other animals, from a terrible hoarding situation. Considering the lack of human contact, and the fact they were left to their own wits to survive, it is absolutely amazing how well this sweet little lady is doing. She is not only very healthy, but she simply loves, loves, loves her foster family and is a joy to have!
Trina gets along great with all her other foster siblings. She also enjoys playing with toys, chewing on cow hooves and picking up twigs and playing with them. She likes being outside, but still likes to keep her foster family in sight.
This is not only a very cute little girl, but just a sweetheart and a half. She is fully grown; so, she is at or around what she should always weigh. She is the perfect size to warm not only your lap, but also your heart… Trina will surely bring much joy and love to her forever home.
If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to Trina for her whole life -- no matter what may lie ahead in yours -- please register on www.safeatlast.net (click Register on the left-hand side of the homepage). When you receive your password on your email account, then log back on to our website with your username and password to complete the SAFE AT LAST online adoption application (click Forms/Applications on the left-hand side of the homepage). We will be in touch by email once we have your application to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process -- so, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM. (Also, WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT THE SAFE AT LAST ADOPTION APPLICATION. NO EXCEPTIONS.)
Our review process is very straightforward, but it does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $375, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.
