Meet handsome Rebel.  This little boxer/hound pup had a rough start to life.  A family in Ohio had Rebel’s mom, and she gave birth to Rebel and two siblings.  Unfortunately, a family member accidentally ran over Rebel’s leg with a car – and then did nothing about it.  Luckily, Rebel ultimately found his way to rescue & has been seen by several vets.  He has already gotten his corrective surgery at our vet (to remove excess calcification and seat his femur properly), and he is doing fantastic.  Due to the injury/surgery, his rear right leg is shorter than his left rear leg.  However, this does not impair his mobility (or his happy temperament) at all.  He runs like the wind and is always smiling & wagging.

Rebel is about the sweetest love-bug of a pup that you could imagine.  He loves people and gets along great with other dogs (big and small).  Rebel also LOVES to ride in the car. He would be a great companion for someone who would love to take him out and about doing new things. What he would love most of all, though, is a family of his very own to share all the love he has to give.

Right now (9/7/17), Rebel is 26 lbs, & we estimate that he is about 5 months old.  We expect (though cannot guarantee) he will be medium in size when fully grown.   He is up-to-date on his shots & is also already neutered.  So, he is all ready for his forever home.

Our review process is very straightforward, but it does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $375 also applies.
