Meet sweet, gentle Mitch, who was returned to us through no fault of his own & not for any legitimate reason.  It cannot be over-stated that adopting a puppy is a long-term commitment (10 to 15 years) – in other words, the commitment continues (or should continue) even after the cutesy, tiny pup grows bigger and becomes a dog…  Enough said.  We are glad Mitch made his way back to us.  He is safe and loved, and we have promised to find him a wonderful FOREVER home. 

Mitch is a handsome, regal-looking Lab/Pit mix.  Right now (8/23/19), he is approximately 10 months old & weighs about 60 lbs.  He is also neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and current on his flea/tick preventative (Seresto collar).

Mitch is currently being fostered in a home with adult dogs (males and females), as well as a litter of little pups.  He is doing wonderfully with all of them.  He is very inquisitive, fun loving, playful & a quick learner.  Even at 60 lbs, Mitch is very gentle and minds very well.  Mitch loves to play fetch.  He also loves to try to steal toys from his foster siblings – but he does so in such a very gentle and funny way. He is great taking treats gently and waiting his turn, and he is totally fascinated by the young foster pups in the other room.  He likes to sit at their baby gate and watch them & sniff them, and he wiggles his tail the whole time.  His beautiful tail seems to be in constant motion – he is a happy boy!!

Mitch is also very affectionate – this sweetie loves to cuddle & give kisses and hugs.  Mitch is a very special young boy and would bring much love and joy to his new forever family.

Our process is straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $375 also applies.
