Introducing our little Miss Dixie-Daisy, who arrived this weekend (10/12) from our rescue friends in WV.  Miss Dixie is a sweetie and a half, with quite the sparkling personality.  The best we can tell (no guarantee) is that Dixie is a Boston Terrier mix.  (Again, folks, since we do not know who her parents are (which is typical in rescue), we cannot guarantee breed mix or size.)  All we can tell you is that she is one sweet, happy, vivacious pup who is very much ready to settle down with a family of her own.  Right now (10/14), she is about 4 months old and weighs in at about 18 lbs.  While she is mostly black and white, this beauty is brindled as well.  When the sunlight shines on her, you can see the brown brindle markings all throughout her coat.
If you are interested in adopting, please register on www.safeatlast.net.  When you receive your password on your email account, log back on to our website to complete the Safe at Last online application.  Once we have that, we will be in touch by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is straightforward, but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $400, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.  

We welcome your interest in our rescue kids, but please be advised you cannot meet Dixie-Daisy until you have been approved for adoption.  And, we cannot consider you until you have completed the Safe at Last online adoption application.
