Meet beautiful Bambi, who came to us from our rescue friends in South Carolina.  Bambi is a positively gorgeous girl with her golden brindled, lush coat and that beautiful little face of hers.  Our best assessment (NO GUARANTEE) is that Bambi has Dutch Shepherd & Plott Hound in the mix... but ... in all honesty, we cannot tell you with any degree of confidence (let alone certainty) what her breed mix is.  What we can say is that she is a sweet, loving pup. 

In terms of personality, Bambi is a loving girl.  She is, however, a little tentative/shy at first in new situations.  She warms up very quickly, though, and is such a love.  I met her, right after a LONG transport, and she took treats from me so very gently and was wiggling her little tail the whole time.  This girl is a heart-stealer!  Given that Bambi is a little unsure of herself in new situations, we think it would be good for her to have another dog in the household, as we feel she gains confidence from having a canine companion.  That being said, we will, however, assess each applicant/application on its own merits to determine if we feel we have a good match.

Right now (11/6), Bambi is between 5 and 6 months old and weighs in at about 28 lbs.  We expect, though CANNOT GUARANTEE, that she will be medium in size when full-grown (~ 50 lbs + or -).  Again, folks, this is a best guesstimate only.... We do not think she will be huge; nor is she a "pocket pooter."    What she is is a doll-baby!  Bambi is also up-to-date on her vaccines, deworming, & topicals for flea/tick prevention; she is also spayed and ready for her forever home.
