Meet little Kahlua-Kitty.  She, along with brother Samuel Adams, came to us from our WV rescue friends.  Kahlua is a striking-looking kitten with gorgeous calico markings.  Right now (12/23/19), our vet estimates Kahlua and Sam to be about 6 weeks old.      

Both Kahlua and Sam, being so young, were a little scared when they first arrived.  After just 2 days, however, they were interacting well with their foster mom and coming over to greet her.  They are exploring their surroundings, playing with toys & with one another, and also doing lots of snuggling.  They love to cuddle up in bed together and look positively adorable!  

Also, Kahlua and Sam are UTD on their medical.  They have received one distemper shot, have been feline leukemia and HIV tested (negative on both), and are UTD on flea/mite prevention.  They have also been dewormed (panacur and droncit) and received a wellness checkup at our vet today (12/23).

If you  are interested in providing a loving, forever home to one of these sweet kittens, please register on our website (www.safeatlast.net).  When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the Safe at Last online adoption application.  Once we have your Safe at Last application, we will email you to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $150, and a refundable $35 neuter deposit (required by NYS law), apply. 

These kitties are being fostered in a private home.  We do not have a centralized facility.  Therefore, you cannot meet them until you have been approved for adoption.  And, we cannot consider you until you have submitted the Safe at Last adoption application.  Finally, we do not restrict adoptions by location; however, all approved adopters are required to come to the foster home (in Fultonham, NY) to complete the adoption.
