ADOPTION PENDING 

Meet beautiful Katie, who came to us from our WV rescue friends.  When Katie came to us back in December 2019, she was a momma-to-be.  She had 8 gorgeous babies & all are now weaned.  So, it is time for sweet Katie to leave motherhood behind and go on to have her own forever family & the wonderful life she deserves.

Our best assessment (no guarantee) is that Katie is a Black and Tan Coonhound mix, possibly with Shepherd.  She is about 55 lbs right now, and our best estimate (again, no guarantee) is that Katie is about 2 yrs old.  So, she has lots of great, loving years ahead to share with her forever family.

Katie has been fostered in a household with other dogs and cats.  She does fine with both.  Katie also loves to spend time her humans -- while she enjoys playing with other dogs, she really loves being with her people.  And, she is a really good girl re potty-training, as she will go to the door to let you know when she needs to go outside.

Currently (2/9/20), Katie is not yet spayed.  But we will be talking with our vet about that this week to get her scheduled.  And, she is up-to-date on her shots.
