Camilla is a courtesy listing & not a Safe at Last dog.  So, if you are interested, please contact her caretaker, Lisa, directly at:  larmaonp@gmail.com.

Little Camilla is an 8-year old Shih Tzu with a sad story.  Years ago, she was hit by a car, requiring four surgeries, one of which was a tail amputation.  She can walk on her own, though she has a unique gait.  Nonetheless, she gets around fine.  Camilla also gets along just fine with other dogs -- she likes to snuggle up.  And, she does fine with the cats in her foster home (adults and little kitten).

Before coming into her present situation, Camilla was in a home where she did not get much attention... And, then, her person pretty much abandoned her and the other animals in the household.  A good Samaritan neighbor (caretaker Lisa) took on Camilla's care and that of the other animals, but we now need to find Camilla a new foster situation and ultimately a forever home.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to foster Camilla, with the potential to adopt.  Fostering Camilla will provide an opportunity to get to know her & determine if this girl is a good fit.  Due to the rough road Camilla has traveled in her former life, this little girl is special needs -- beyond her prior surgeries, she has a vaginal prolaspe and is not reliably housetrained.  In her former home (before being abandoned), she was trained to potty on pee pads... but a lot has changed for this little one in the past couple of weeks & she is dealing with that adjustment.  Camilla will need someone who is patient and loving and willing to work with her on these issues.

If you would like to foster Camilla, particularly with the potential intent to adopt, Lisa would love to hear from you.  Help is truly needed for this little girl -- Might you be the one to turn this baby's life around??  If so, caretaker Lisa would love to hear from you.  So, please email her at larmaonp@gmail.com

Many thanks for wanting to open your heart and home to little Camilla.
