Brenda Lee is a beautiful brindle Boston Terrier/Blue Heeler mix who our vet believes to be about 7 months of age.  This girl is 23 lbs of love and sweetness. 

Brenda Lee came to us from a high kill shelter in WV.  They were going to euthanize her because she had a skin condition – demodex.  Demodex is so very easily treatable…  We could not bear the thought of this sweet young girl being killed … and so she came to us.

Brenda Lee has been to our vet.  She is on Bravecto to take care of her skin issue, and she is healing beautifully.  She looks terrific and is feeling great!  She has a follow-up appointment at the end of the month, and then she will be ready for her forever home.

Brenda Lee is such a sweet, affectionate girl.  The hardships of her early days have not affected her lovely personality. She loves tummy rubs, cuddling with her foster humans and playing with her foster siblings.   She is also doing very well with house-training and does great with correction. 

Due to all she has been through in her young life thus far, Brenda Lee still is a little insecure; with love and reassurance she will blossom.  To provide that reassurance and stability, we are seeking a forever home without young children.  We want a home that can focus on Brenda Lee – to help her thrive, address her need for activity and being out of doors, and also make her feel secure and loved.

Brenda Lee is being fostered in Worcester, NY (Otsego County).  Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption.

Finally, you must submit the Safe at Last adoption application & be approved prior to meeting any of our rescue animals.   If you do not submit the Safe at Last adoption application, we cannot consider you.
