Meet our super-sweet girl, Sofia.  She is the momma of kittens Eliza, Sylvia and Rose (all of whom have been adopted).  Sofia & her babies came to us from a high-kill shelter in WV where the whole family was going to be euthanized.  Momma Sofia's babies have all found wonderful forever homes.  Now, it is this beautiful girl's turn to find an amazing family who will love and dote on her for all of her days.

Sofia is a beautiful girl, as you can see from her pics.  She is also friendly & super super affectionate.  She can purr up a storm.  She is a very sweet girl, and we want a home where she will get lots of one-on-one people attention and tons of love. 

Sofia is up-to-date on her rabies and distemper shots.  She has been dewormed & is spayed.  So, she is all ready for her forever home. 

It seems like everyone wants a kitten... Sofia is only 1.5 yrs old.  Does this mean she is not wanted??? She is so affectionate and so sweet and has years and years and years of love to give... She has had babies, yes; but she is still such a young cat...We wonder sometimes why the babies are wanted, but the moms are not... Surely, someone out there will want to open their heart to this wonderful girl.

If you are interested in providing beautiful Sofia with a loving, responsible home for life, please register on www.safeatlast.net (click "Register" on the left-hand side of our homepage).  When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to complete the Safe at Last on-line adoption application (click "Forms/Applications" on the left-hand side of our homepage and choose the Adoption application).  When we have your application, we will review it; and, if we feel your home is a good match for Sofia, a volunteer will be in touch by e-mail to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward, but it does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $150 also applies.

Please be advised, you cannot meet Sofia until you have been approved to adopt.   Also, we cannot consider you until you have submitted the Safe at Last adoption application.
