Meet Momma Misty’s kitties (our “Pride and Prejudice” litter) – Mr. Bingley, Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bennett, Mr. Gardiner, Mr. Wickham and Miss Jane Bennett. This family came to us from a high-kill shelter in WV where they were all going to be euthanized.  Caring rescue workers there got them to safety & then to us.

When this family arrived, the kittens were about 4 weeks old.  Currently (9/27/20), they are about 7 weeks old.  They have been dewormed several times, will receive their first distemper shot on 9/28, and will be treated with flea preventative as soon as they are old enough (in one week).

All of these kittens are over-the-top adorable, playful & fun.  The 3 orange boys (Mr. Wickham, Mr. Bingley and Mr. Gardiner) are the most outgoing, with Mr. Wickham being the boldest and the friendliest and Mr. Bingley (who is a very stunning shade of light butterscotch) also being a friendly boy.  The only girl, Miss Jane Bennett, is very playful.  Mr. Darcy (white tabby) and Mr. Bennett (gray boy) are a little bit shyer than the others, but they come around just fine in short order.  All are sweet, & they will be available to go to their forever homes as of 10/3/20.

If you are interested in providing a loving, responsible home to one of these babies for his or her whole life, please register on www.safeatlast.net (click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage).  When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the SAFE AT LAST online adoption application (click Forms/Applications on the left-hand side of our homepage).  If, after preliminary review of your application, your home appears to be a good match, a volunteer will be in touch by email to commence the review process.  Our process is straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $150, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

This family is being fostered in Preston Hollow, NY (Schoharie County).  Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption.

Finally, you must submit the SAFE AT LAST online adoption application & be approved prior to meeting any of our rescue animals.  If you do not submit the SAFE AT LAST adoption application, we cannot consider you.
