Meet our Pug pups – MACK, MOLLY, KIAH, Kenworth, Bleu and Flutter-Nut.

Mack, Molly and Kiah are siblings.  Kenworth, Bleu and Flutter-Nut are siblings. Based on our assessment, all of these pups are currently (10/19/20) approximately 12-14 weeks old.  Kenworth, Bleu and Flutter-Nut appear to be Pug mixes – with what, we do not know.  Mack, Molly and Kiah may (or may not) be purebred pugs.  We cannot give any guarantees on that.  What we can guarantee is that all these pups are happy, social and engaging.

As for individual personalities:

The Bigger Pup Litter -

Mack is the largest of both groups.  He can play hard but is so affectionate with his people and always full of kisses.

Mack’s sister Molly is sweet and gentle but can hold her own when playing.  Molly is the second largest of this entire crew.

Kiah (of this same litter) is quite the personality – feisty, spunky and seemingly up for anything.  Kiah is a “special” girl, however, for a couple of reasons.  She has a small hole in her heart which already has been checked by a specialist.  She will need periodic check ups once she matures, but we are promised she will have a long and healthy life.  Kiah is special for another reason – she has already found her forever family and will be united with them soon.

The Smaller Pup Litter –

Kenworth is a doll-baby of a pup.  He is the largest of his litter & the gentlest.  He runs to his people with open paws and has so many kisses to share.  He plays well with all the pups.

Bleu is the second smallest of these pups.  She, too, can hold her own.  She has her feisty, playful side, but she also loves the view from your lap.

Last but not least is Flutter-Nut, who is the smallest of all these pups.  But, don’t let her size fool you!!  She is a spit-fire and can hold her own with the big kids.

If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to one of these pups for his/her whole life, please register on our website, www.safeatlast.net (by clicking “Register” on the left-hand side of our homepage).  When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the Safe at Last online adoption application (by clicking Forms/Applications on the left-hand side of our homepage).

Once we have your application, upon preliminary review, if we feel your home is a good match, a volunteer will be in touch by email to commence the review process.  Our process is straightforward but involves the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $425, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Please be advised, you cannot meet the pups until you have been approved to adopt.  Also, we cannot consider you until you have submitted the Safe at Last online adoption application.  Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other suitable families who have already applied.

These pups (except for Kiah) are being fostered in Worcester, NY (Otsego County).  Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption.

Thank you for choosing to rescue.
