Meet our sweet “English Poet” litter – Shakespeare (male), Tennyson (male), and Keatsie (female). These beautiful babies are friendly, loving, playful little kittens, and we expect that they will be ready to go to their forever homes around the end of February/beginning of March (at which time they will be 8 to 9 wks old).  We have them scheduled for their vet wellness visit on Feb 22^nd.  At that time, they will be checked out by our vet and get their first distemper shot.  The kitties will also be dewormed and given flea/ear mite preventative prior to going home. Adopters will need to be willing and able to follow-up with age appropriate/timing apppropriate vet/medical care, and of of this will be explained in full during the phone interview, as well as in the adoption paperwork. 

These 3 precious kids are beautiful little babies with many years of love to give – and we are looking for responsible forever homes that understand the long-term commitment involved in welcoming a new fur-baby home.

Once we have your application, if we feel your home is a good match, we will contact you by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $150, and a $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Please be advised that you cannot meet the kittens until you have been approved to adopt.  We cannot consider you until you have submitted the completed Safe at Last online adoption application.  Delay in submitting your application will put you at a disadvantage to other potentially qualified applicants.  SO, PLEASE, YOU MUST APPLY WITH US ON OUR WEBSITE TO BE CONSIDERED.

Finally, approved adopters are required to go to the foster home (in Preston Hollow, NY) to complete the adoption.  On adoption day, adopters are required to adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols (including mask) when completing the adoption.
