Meet Ashleigh, who came to us from our rescue partners in NC.  Ashleigh was in the shelter there and had some medical needs.  We are still assessing her - she has been to our vet for testing (blood work, radiographs, ultrasound, exam, etc), and we will be doing some follow up for her.   AND HER BLOOD AND URINE ANALYSES CAME BACK GREAT - PERFECT!!!!!!!!  She will need some dental work -- a couple of extractions, as well as her spay, but she has checked out GREAT, and we are thrilled!!

This ~8 year old little lady is super sweet & full of kisses -- she is a total love bug and gets along well with all.  She is an absolute joy -- and we think she is spoken for.....  

While in foster care, family visitors (who also happen to be periodic foster parents for Safe at Last) met Ash and fell in love with her... not surprising!!  Well, Ashleigh is now with them on a two-week trial aimed at forever adoption.   

Little Ashleigh has a special gift for finding her way into your heart.... and we are hopeful she has found her forever home.  We will keep you posted!!  Way to go, Ash!!
