Meet Hawk Eye, one of Onyx's boy pups!
Hawk Eye is a sweet, social, happy baby. Our best assessment is that he is some type of terrier mix - with what we have no idea. We anticipate (THOUGH CANNOT GUARANTEE) that Hawk Eye will be medium in size when full grown (25-35 lbs). Again, folks, no guarantee on breed mix or size! What we can say for sure is that Hawk is a nice pup. He is being fostered with other dogs and cats and does well with all. He is an affectionate, happy, playful little man.
TO PURSUE ADOPTION, PLEASE REGISTER ON www.safeatlast.net. (Click Register on the lefthand side of the homepage.) After you receive your password, please COMPLETE THE SAFE AT LAST ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. (Click Forms/Applications on the lefthand side of the homepage.) Once we have your application, IF WE FEEL YOU ARE A POTENTIALLY GOOD MATCH, we will contact you by e-mail to schedule the phone interview. So, please check your spam. Our review process is straightforward but involves the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. AN ADOPTION FEE OF $425 (AND A REFUNDABLE $35 SPAY/NEUTER DEPOSIT, required by NYS law) APPLY.
YOU CANNOT MEET THE HAWK EYE UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT. WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other potentially suitable applicants.
**Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to adopt to Massachusetts residents due to the state's dog quarantine mandates**
Hawk Eye is being fostered in Worcester, NY (Otsego County). Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption.
