Meet Mary (of Peter, Paul and Mary), born ~7/24/21.

Miss Mary was the leader of this group but as the boys have grown up she is acceptable to go with the flow. She is a SWEET girl.  She will do best with a dog-experienced family who is willing to engage with her, give her structure and continue her training.  (Of course, structure and training are necessary for all puppies :)

Mary is also smart & affectionate.  She is the first to run and meet us or even a stranger with tag wagging and some really sweet kisses and leans.  And, as stated, she is soliciting attention and loving from her people more and more.  She is also very smart.  She catches on very quickly, leads her brothers into the morning rituals with confidence, and responds extremely well to any type of direction. 

Mary is fostered with other adult dogs & a cat. In terms of her human family, as stated, Mary will need consistent leadership to guide her to become the wonderful adult she is meant to be.  Mary surely will adjust quickly to her new home and bring many years of joy.  This stunning little pittie is a true beauty.”

TO PURSUE ADOPTION, PLEASE REGISTER ON www.safeatlast.net.  After you receive your password, please COMPLETE THE SAFE AT LAST ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.  Once we have your application, IF WE FEEL YOU ARE A POTENTIALLY GOOD MATCH, we will contact you by e-mail to schedule the phone interview.  So, please check your spam.  Our review process is straightforward but involves the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  AN ADOPTION FEE OF $425 (AND A REFUNDABLE $35 SPAY/NEUTER DEPOSIT, required by NYS law) ALSO APPLY.

YOU CANNOT MEET THE PUPS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT.  WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.  Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other potentially suitable applicants.

Mary is being fostered in Cobleskill, NY.  Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption.
