Juneau, June, Junie, JuneBug, Junie-B - this girl is just the sweetest most sensitive girl.

Juneau is only about 1.5 years, maybe barely 2 years old.  A Labrador mix from SC.  She spent weeks on the run with a couple other dogs before rescuers were able to set a havahart trap for her.  Her past is likely wrought with trauma and some experiences are still a bit scary for her; however if you check out her videos, this girl is willing and able to love, and is working towards the future. 

She will be looking for a family to show her complete positivity and all the good things to come.

Juneau is great with other dogs, and part of her adoption requirement will be to live with another dog - while Juneau is repairing her trust in humans, she finds confidence, security, and happiness with her canine pals.  She is also great with cats. 

Juneau hasn't yet had interaction with kids while in foster care - she is the sweetest and we actually do think she may enjoy human kiddos - but she is also sensitive, so only dog-savvy, sensitive, respectful kids.

Juneau is housebroken and crate trained - however as she gains confidence, she has de-stuffed a toy, and explored odd items - a bag of donation clothes, a bag of ice-melt, a box of baking soda - likely part of a prior food-seeking habit - so she'll need to be crated when left alone for mischief management. 
She is also building her coat/skin back to a better condition after the treatment of a non-contagious, temporary skin aliment.

Juneau is spayed, up-to-date on core vaccines, dewormed, current on flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and microchipped.

Juneau is being fostered in Cobleskill, NY.  Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption.
