Meet sweet little Mazie.  She is a yorkie mix, about 1 to 3 years (NO GUARANTEE FOLKS), and as cute as a button!!

Mazie’s perfect home would have a physically fenced yard or the means to allow her some extra space or long walks outside.  She prefers the single life but might consider a laid-back canine companion, as long as she can be the #1 dog!!  Mazie is a groovy little gal who loves to dance when you come home, get dinner ready, or whenever she is happy.  She likes to “chill” too – whether it be watching TV or lounging on the couch; but, then again, she can just as readily grab your shoe or slipper.  She doesn’t chew them; she just carries them to you or puts them in her “house” for safe-keeping.  As for toys, Mazie will play and bounce around with them quietly while you nap or scroll through Facebook… Mazie loves her human companions and says there are advantages to being an only child!!!

Once Mazie goes to her new home, she will most likely need a day or two to settle in before she’ll show you all her sweet tricks and her darling personality.  When she does settle in, what a cute little wiggly addition she will be to her new family.

Mazie is currently with our rescue partners in NC, undergoing heartworm treatment.  She will be done with that shortly, and we are looking to get this lovely little lady lined up with her forever home before her journey to New York.

Mazie is spayed, up-to-date on core vaccines, and potty-trained.

Our review process is very straightforward - it involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $450 also applies.
