Suzie is 1.5 years old (born ~December 2020), a Lab/Shar Pei? - for reference the little black dogs in photos with Suzie (her foster sisters) are under 30lbs; so Suzie is is on the lower end of a medium sized dog.

Poor Suzie (and her housemate Sally) lost their dad unexpectedly - so with the help of family members they found a ride from their home in Georgia to start a new life. Sally has already found her new home, so it's Miss Suzie-Q's turn!

Suzie is currently fostered with two smaller female mixes, and lived with Sally a mellow Border Collie/Hound mix - she is amicable to living with other dogs but gets a little bossy when claiming her spot on the couch or getting affection from people, so a mellow or passive canine housemate would be the best match. Suzie would also be fine living as the only dog.

Best in a home without kitties.

Suzie is very friendly and good with kids - she can be exuberant though and needs a little 'no jumping' training, so slightly older or more durable kids would be best.

Suzie is being crate trained in her foster home, and despite the major changes in her life, she has only had one accident inside - so tentatively say she is housebroken, but no guarantees and we always recommend introducing dogs to a new home via crate training.

Suzie is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, current on rabies, distempter, & bordetella vaccines, and current on flea/tick preventative.
