Maisie and siblings (also seeking their forever homes & posted on our website) were rescued by their good samitaritan caretaker from a dairy barn situation.  The kitties have been with her for weeks, and she has vetted them and worked at getting them healthy and happy.  There is a definite preference that the kitties be adopted in pairs as indicated in their biographies.  Single adoptions will be considered, but double adoptions will be given preference.  An adoption fee - to help defray some of the costs of their caretaker - also applies - $150/pair or $100/kitten.


This is what caretaker Bonnie has to say about Maisie:

Maisie is an orange tabby with no white and black freckles on her nose, born about 5/1/22. She has been treated for parasites, received distemper and rabies shots and is FeLV and FIV negative. She was rescued from a dairy farm covered in fleas, had ear mites and where they would have faced dangers from predators, farm machinery and livestock.

Maisie is an athletic superstar, leaping high up the wall to grab the laser pointer dot, dribbling a ball down the hall, or hopping on her hind legs before pouncing on one of her littermates. A tunnel, empty box or scrap paper are just as much fun as a ball or mouse. She’s exceptionally friendly, has a loud purr that goes nonstop, will ask for attention by sitting on your foot and wants to curl up in a warm lap to supervise what’s going on. She doesn’t mind our large dog. Would love to be adopted with either Petey or Sparky to have a playmate.
