Meet BAMBAM-black & white, who arrived in NY 12/10 (with his sister Pebbles-who already has an adopter waiting).

BamBam is about 11 weeks old (estimated date of birth 10/2/22). He is a little stub-tailed boy, best guess Cattle Dog/Aussie mix, who we believe will be a medium size adult dog (BEST ASSESSMENT ONLY, NO GUARANTEE).

BamBam was found wandering down a dirt road with his siblings presumably after being dumped to fend for themselves.

He has such a soft heart and wants nothing more than to climb in to your lap for loves. His kisses are soft and he has a gentle nature.

Playing with his sibling can be a bit different and they play hard. His favorite toy is an empty soda bottle. One of these days he will get that cover off, lol.

He is true to his breed and wants to get an early start. Sleeping through the night isn't quite as much fun -- so, he is an early riser, and his fussing like a toddler when he goes to bed only lasts a few minutes.

But that little tail and wiggle, it has to be the cutest! And he is a happy boy - so you see it often.

BamBam is up-to-date on core vaccines, flea-tick preventative and heartworm preventative. He is therefore all ready for a great home of his own. Could that be you?

*Keep in mind that adopting a puppy is more than falling in love with a picture. Along with lots of love, these pups (like all pups) will need leadership from their humans and continued training to allow them to become good canine citizens.*

To pursue adoption, please register on www.safeatlast.net. (Click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage.) When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the SAFE AT LAST on-line adoption application. (Click Forms/Application on the left-hand side of our homepage and select the Adoption Application.) Once we have your completed application, if we feel you are a good match, we will contact you by email. (So, please check your SPAM.) Our process is straightforward but involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $450, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit, also apply.

YOU CANNOT MEET BamBam UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT. WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ON-LINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other potentially suitable applicants. Ultimately, approved adopters will be required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption (in Schoharie or Albany County).
