Meet Rascal!!

He is about 4 months old, we expect him to be a medium size adult.

Ever met one of those sweet little boys that just wants to be near you and looks at you like you are his whole world? That's our boy Rascal. He came into our rescue being in really sad condition -- he looked like a bag of bones... But all of that is behind him, and a more sweet, grateful, lovely pup you could not find!!

Rascal is quiet and polite and playful. He can be your shadow or snuggle on the couch or even play a game a fetch that is his new source of fun.

He is very good with his canine foster siblings too. He is very respectful and will engage in play or find some other source of fun. And, size does not matter, big or small works for this guy!!

Rascal also loves all people, willingingly giving them butt wiggles and curling right up close for the usual baby talk and petting.

He is working on his basics like walking on a leash, crating overnight and potty training. All are going well.

So, if you are wanting to welcome a wonderful, loving pup into your family - to love and provide for him for life - check out our boy Rascal. He is worthy of a great family, and that family will be so lucky to have him.

Rascal will be neutered soon, and it up-to-date on core vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, & current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

When you receive your password (on your email account), log back on to complete the Safe at Last online adoption application.  IF WE FEEL YOU ARE A POTENTIALLY GOOD MATCH, WE WILL CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL - SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM. All our rescues are fostered in private homes - WITHOUT YOUR APPLICATION, WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU, and you cannot meet Rascal until you have applied and been approved.  Adopters are required to visit the foster home to complete the adoption (in the Schoharie County/Albany County area).

Our review process is very straightforward - it involves an interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $450 and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law) also apply.
