Meet Arthur! Want that happy, want to be with you puppy, that's ready to play or snuggle? That's our Authur! Everyone is his playmate - mom, children and his littermates. He is such a great judge of what level of play as well, slowing down when needed and racing through the play tunnels or around the yard.
He is smart and has learned the routine in his foster home. He knows when mom is making their munchies, how to open the baby gate when mom unlocks it and where to find the softest blankets for nap time.
At the end of play or before bedtime his favorite place is curled up on your feet or in your lap.
And the very best thing about Authur is when he sits and looks up with you with that oh so cute face and beautiful eyes.
___________________________________________________________________________The "Old Soul" puppies are about 8 weeks old (born ~5/1/2024). Their mom appears to be a German Shepherd mix (see photos), and some of the other dogs on the property features Anatolian Shepherd/Lab qualities. We expect but cannot guarantee these puppies will grow into large adults. The puppies are started on core vaccines, dewormed/de-flead, and can be microchipped upon their arrival to NY/Schoharie County. **If you are interested, YOU NEED TO APPLY. When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the SAFE AT LAST on-line adoption application. Once we have your completed application, if we feel you are a good match, we will contact you by email. (So, please check your SPAM.) Our process is straightforward but involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $450, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), apply. YOU CANNOT MEET OUR RESCUE ANIMALS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT. WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ON-LINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.
