How to describe Chip?? Well, he is a happy little Shih Tzu!
Chip is up for doggie play time with his foster siblings, a good shake, carrying around any and all toys, or racing to his crate for anything yummy he may be getting. Phew, he is a busy little boy and keeps an eye on foster mom; you never know when she may surprise them with a new chew or toy.
He is good with other dogs. He figures out their energy level and adjusts accordingly.
He also loves his crate and sleeps in there quietly through the night or is happy to hang out there if mom has to leave.
Potty training is about 80%; he is picking up on the daily routines in his foster home and is learning - also this guy isn't necessarily a leg lifter, he is just still learning the consistency, and Chip is kind of a private guy and likes to find a corner of the yard for his outdoor business.
Chip is a Shih Tzu mix and will be 2 years old in Oct 2024.
He is neutered, current on core vaccines, dewormed, current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative, and can be microchipped upon arrival to NY/Schoharie County in a couple of weeks!
