Meet Momma Navy's kiddos! All girls named by their foster home's kids - Bingo, Bluey, Sox, & Muffin.

Momma Navy is about 35lbs, best guess is she is a Border Collie/Terrier?? We expect but cannot guarantee that the pups will be medium size adults. Approximate date of birth is 2/21/25, so they are just about 8 weeks old.

Meet Muffin, the tiniest pup in the litter with a heart and spirit way bigger than her size! Don’t let her small stature fool you—she’s fierce, confident, and can hold her own no matter who’s in the playpen. Muffin loves to play hard and then melt into the best cuddles you can imagine. She’s that perfect mix of scrappy and sweet, always ready to jump into a game but just as happy curling up for some quiet snuggles. If you want a little dog with a huge personality and a whole lot of love to give, Muffin’s your girl!

As with any puppy, they will need families committed to begin and continue training in their new adoptive homes. And, as with all of our puppies, we recommend taking a basic group training class for exposure, a bonding experience with their new families, and of course continuing paths to becoming lovely, trained, well-behaved & well-adjusted adult canine citizens.

They have been dewormed and are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines (parvo/distemper), flea/tick preventative (if needed), & microchipped!

When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the SAFE AT LAST on-line adoption application. (Click Forms/Application on the left-hand side of our homepage and select the Adoption Application.) Once we have your completed application, if we feel you are a good match, we will contact you by email. (So, please check your SPAM.) Our process is straightforward but involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $450, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), apply.

YOU CANNOT MEET OUR RESCUE ANIMALS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT. WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ON-LINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other potentially suitable applicants. Ultimately, approved adopters will be required to complete an adoption in Schoharie/Albany County.
