Meet Dahlia & Lupine (girls), Cosmos & Aster (boys)!

These kids came into our care after their mom was sadly hit by a car...

They are about 12-14 weeks old (estimated DOB 4/11/25), best guess, no guarantees, is that they are Aussie (or Cattle Dog)/Hound(Beagle?) mixes - Lupine, Cosmos, & Aster all have naturally stubbed tails!-Dahlia has a slightly longer but not full length tail as well.  We expect them to be a lower end of medium to medium size adult dog.

They are all happy, playful, well adjusted puppies!

They have been dewormed and are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines (parvo/distemper), flea/tick preventative (if needed), & microchipped!

To pursue adoption, please register on www.safeatlast.net.  (Click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage.)  When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the SAFE AT LAST on-line adoption application.  (Click Forms/Application on the left-hand side of our homepage and select the Adoption Application.) Once we have your completed application, if we feel you are a good match, we will contact you by email. (So, please check your SPAM.)  Our process is straightforward but involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $450, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), apply.

YOU CANNOT MEET OUR RESCUE ANIMALS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT.  WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ON-LINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.  Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other potentially suitable applicants.  Ultimately, approved adopters will be required to complete an adoption in Schoharie/Albany County.
