Nikki is an approximately 10 week old Australian cattle dog/husky mix (best guess) puppy that was surrendered to a high kill shelter in OH with her 4 siblings. This litter of 5 is being fostered in a private home with other dogs-pups, cats and kids, and they do well with everyone.

 

The pups are approximately 8 lbs now and will probably get to be about 40-50lbs full grown. Cattle dogs are extremely smart dogs and need to have work/exercise to keep them stimulated physically and mentally.

 

If you want to be considered for one of these pups, please email mbaldwinzoo@aol.com for an adoption application.  The application review process is very straightforward but does include reference checks and a home assessment.  Only approved applicants may visit the puppies.
