Stetson is an 8-yr-old male beagle/treeing walker coonhound mix who came to us from South Carolina. This dear senior had been discarded at the local shelter by his so-called "family" who dumped him there and just went on their way.  This sweet boy surely did not deserve such callous treatment.  Stetson is an extremely sweet, loving, gentle, and low maintenance dog who wants nothing more than to cuddle with his people.  He likes other dogs, cats, & kids! He would be a great addition to any family.

Stetson is also neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.  When he came to us he tested slight positive for heartworm but has now tested negative for heartworm!!  Under advice from our vet, we are treating him with the "slow kill" method, which means he needs to be kept on heartworm preventative (such as heartguard or iverhart max).
