Jemma came to us all the way from South Carolina.  She is a gentle puppy & so very affectionate.  She loves to be picked up and snuggled.  Her little tail keeps wagging, and her shining eyes seem to say:  "I have SO much love to give.  Won't you love me forever?"

Our best assessment is that Jemma is an australian shepherd/sheltie mix.  Currently (3/3/2013), she is just about 12 weeks old & would love to have a commited forever famiy of her own.  She is sure to return her family's love 100-fold for many years to come.

If you have the love in your heart, and the time, willingness and ability, to commit to precious Jemma for her whole life -- no matter what may lie ahead in yours -- then please register on our website (www.safeatlast.net).  Once a password is sent back to your email account, then please log back on with your username and password to complete an online adoption application (under Forms/Applications on the lefthand side of the homepage).

Once we have your application, a volunteer will be in touch to work with you through the review process.  Our review process is very straightforward, but it does involve a phone interview, reference checks, and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $300, plus a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Please understand that because we foster our rescue pups in our own homes & have no centralized facility, you must be approved for adoption before you can meet the pups.  We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Thank you so very much for your interest in our rescue puppies & for helping us save shelter pets, one life at a time.
