Ida and her siblings - whom we call the "Magnificent Seven" - came to us all the way from Ohio.  Born ~12/2/12.  These beautiful babies had been abandoned in an old house in squalid conditions; they were simply left to die.  Luckily, rescue workers found them in time, & they are now loving life!

As for Ida, she is a gorgeous little girl, currently (2/20) weighing about 8 lbs.  She is such a little sweetie, but also has a spunky, playful spirit.  Ida will lay in bed all night and sleep without making a mess, and also loves to curl up next to her humans or the other adult dogs in her foster home.  She also loves to play, and although she is quite a bit smaller than her siblings Izaack and Ianeta, she doesn't seem to realize that!!  Ida loves exploring and playing outside, but does not like very cold termperatures.  She is a sweet, playful, love-bug of a puppy who is waiting for her special family to come along and love her forever.

If you have the love in your heart, and the time, willingness & ability to commit to Ida for her whole life - no matter what may lie ahead in yours - then please register on our website (www.safeatlast.net).  Once you receive your password, then log back on to our website with your username and password and complete the online adoption application (under Forms/Applications on the left hand side of the homepage).

Once we have your application, a volunteer will be in touch to work with you through the review process.  Our process is very straightforward, but it does involve a phone interview, reference checks, and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $300, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Please understand that because our rescue babies are fostered in private homes & we have no centralized facility, you must be approved for adoption before meeting the puppies.  We appreciate your understanding.

We also thank you for your interest in our rescue babies and for helping us save shelter pets one life at a time.
