The "N" Puppies have arrived!  They are about 10-11 weeks old (as of 3/20). All are girls & look to be Wirehair Terrier/Dachshund?/Beagle? They are super social, playful, and spunky!

Nellie is the shorthaired gal of the bunch.  She is super sweet and playful - and her foster mom says that beyond being incredibly smart, Nellie is an absolute joy.  We'd say she is a terrier mix like her sisters, possibly Beagle and/or Dachshund too.  Nellie will probably be a small- to medium-sized dog & she is a total doll-baby.  She is sure to bring many years of happiness to the family lucky enough to adopt her.

If you have the love in your heart, and the time, willingness & ability to commit to Nellie for her entire life -- no matter what may lie ahead in yours -- then please apply.  To do that, please register on our website (www.safeatlast.net), log back on with your username and password, and complete an online adoption application.  Once we have your application, a volunteer will be in touch to work with you through the review process.

Our process is very straightforward, but it does involve a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $300, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Because our animals are fostered in private homes and we do not have a centralized facility, you must be approved for adoption before you can meet the pups.  We appreciate your understanding in this regard.  Of course, if you would like additional information, or if you have any questions, please email foster mom Jill at swiffer109@yahoo.com.  We are happy to assist.

Thank you for your interest in our rescue babies and for helping us save shelter pets, one life at a time.
