Jax is a 3-year old purebred bluetick coonhound (with papers).  He was rescued from people who kept him tied up, underfed, filthy and unloved.  Jax has a very sweet temperament and interacts well with other dogs and people.  With training, he could be a GREAT dog.  Jax is not neutered, but we are told that he is up-to-date on his vaccines.

The people who are now caring for Jax cannot keep him for very long.  They asked our help in promoting him because they know this dear boy has suffered enough and they do not want to send him to a shelter.  Surely, this sweet boy deserves a responsible, committed home where he will be loved for all of his days...
