About Robin Hood
Status: Adopted!
Species: Dog
Current Age: 11 Years 7 Months (best estimate)
Housetrained: No
Robin Hood is a Dachshund/ Border Terrier Mix who is very handsome and cute as a button. His feathery ears and whiskers give him his very distinct look. His coat is very shiny and is medium-short in length, with waves in it. As of 8/25, Robin is about 13 weeks of age and weighs about 10#'s. We expect he will likely be in the small to lower end of medium range in size when full grown.
Robin Hood has a very active personality and loves to run around and play. He loves to explore his surroundings and is very curious, but he is a real little love bug as well and loves to give kisses. This is a very smart puppy who knows how to go in and out of a doggie door and, of course, up and down stairs. He is a happy, well-adjusted pup who loves to play, explore and get affection. Robin Hood is, indeed, a very "merry" little man who would be a wonderful addition to any loving, caring family.
If you have the time, willingness, and ability to commit to Robin Hood for his whole life - no matter what may lie ahead in yours - then please go to www.safeatlast.net. Please register and then log back on to the website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application (under Forms/Applications). Once we have your application, a volunteer will be in touch to work with you through the review process.
Our review process is very straightforward, but it does involve a phone interview, reference checks, and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $300 and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law) also apply.
Please understand that because we foster our animals in private homes and do not have a centralized facility, you must be approved for adoption prior to meeting the puppies. We thank you for your understanding in this regard.
Of course, if you have any questions, please email us at info@safeatlast.net. We are happy to assist.
Thank you for helping us save shelter pets, one life at a time.
