Van Volborg did have a pending adoption, and, because of that, we did not process anyone else for him or have him attend our adoption event... And, then, at the 11th hour, late on the night just prior to his adoption, his approved "family" backed out on him.... Folks, we know "stuff happens," but in this type of circumstance, the innocent pup is the loser.  And this darling boy surely did not deserve that. 

Van Valborg is the largest pup of this litter, and he has nothing but love in his heart.  He is the gentlest soul & about the sweetest fella you'd ever want to meet.  He is like an overgrown teddy bear with the dearest temperament.  And he is also so very handsome with his beautiful, deep rich mahogany red coat & bright white markings.  

This wonderful boy will be a fabulous family dog, who we anticipate will be medium-sized when full grown.  He is easy-going, well-adjusted, and loves just about everything.  He is perfectly content to be outside running around exploring, or curled up on his back in your lap.  He LOVES belly rubs!!  He is not dominant at all - he gets along great with other dogs, and loves everyone he meets.  Van Valborg just wants to be loved and included in family life.  Truly, he is a once-in-a-lifetime pup, and we are seeking the great family for him that he deserves.

Our process is very straightforward, but does involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $200, and a $35 refundable spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.
