Meet sweet Elsa, who came to us from our rescue friends in KY, along with her 6 babies (soon to be posted on our website).  Elsa is an INCREDIBLY sweet, gentle girl.  She is a small girl (about 25 bs), with a big heart, and is positively loving and wonderful.  She loves people, and she has such a gentle way about her.  She loves affection (including belly rubs), but is so, so gentle in her approach.  She also gets along great with other dogs, big and small... This girl has never met a person whom she did not love....

Elsa is a beautiful brindle color.  She is a plott hound/feist mix, & we estimate that she is about 2 years old.  This girl is a once in a lifetime dog; we know she will make an absolutely wonderful companion and family dog.  She is seeing our vet this evening (6/27) to get fully checked out, and we will keep you posted.

And here is what her foster mom has to say about her:  "She's the perfect dog, because it's true! She gets along well with all six of my kitties, as well as Lylah and Van (respectively, a boxer girl senior and a mini-pin boy). She's a total snuggle bug and loves to rest her head in your lap. She's very smart and picks up on things quickly. She's goofy and very moldable, I think she would be a great therapy dog in the future. She enjoys going for car rides, walks, and loves to meet new people. She's a social butterfly. She's good with kids, including young kids (my neighbors have kids -- ages 4 and 2), and all love her."

Folks, don't miss out on this great girl.  If you are looking for a small young adult dog who will meld into your life and love you forever, we think Elsa would be a great fit.

If you are interested in providing a loving forever home for Elsa for her whole life - no matter what may lie ahead in yours - please register on www.safeatlast.net.  When you receive your password, please log back on to the website to complete an online adoption application.  Once we have that, a volunteer will be in touch to work with you through our review process.  Our process is very straightforward, but it does involve a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $200 also applies.

Thank you for wanting to change the world for this wonderful girl by welcoming her into your family.
