About Izzy

  • Housetrained: No
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, YOU NEED TO REGISTER ON www.safeatlast.net & THEN LOG BACK ON TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.

Meet Izzy who came to us from our rescue friends in KY.  She and her brother Maxwell are gorgeous, friendly, affectionate, playful, social, lovely tempered pups.  Either of them would be a wonderful addition to any loving, responsible family.

Our best assessment is that these pups are aussie/spaniel mixes.  Currently (6/28), we estimate that they are about 8 to 9 weeks old.  We expect that they will be medium-sized dogs when full grown.

If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to one of these pups for his/her whole life -- no matter what may lie ahead in yours -- please register on our website (www.safeatlast.net).  A password will then be sent back to your email account.  Once you have that, please log back on to the website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application (under "Forms/Applications" on the left hand side of the homepage).

Once we have your application, a volunteer will be in touch by email to set up a phone interview and commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward but does involve a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $300 and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law) also apply.   If you have any questions, please email us at info@safeatlast.net.  We are happy to assist.

FINALLY, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT BECAUSE ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE FOSTERED IN PRIVATE HOMES & WE HAVE NO CENTRALIZED FACILITY, YOU CANNOT MEET THE PUPS UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE APPLIED WITH US AND BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us save shelter pets, one life at a time.
