Meet beautiful, sweet Roxy, who came to us from KY, along with her 6 babies (whom we will be posting soon).  Roxy is a darling girl... we estimate that she is about 3 years old and is predominantly boxer.  She is currently in foster care with 2 other dogs (one large, one small) and a couple of kitties.

Here is what Roxy's foster mom has to say about her:  Roxy is doing well. She is settling down nicely.  And, she sure is a pretty girl -  she's pretty enough to stare at all day!! She's also house broken AND knows sit, lay down, stay, and come. She's ignored the kitties here and did well with the dogs once she had a little time to settle in. 

UPDATE from Roxy's foster mom:  Roxy (or Roxanne as we sometimes call her now, haha) did great camping this weekend! We had a mix of adults and young kids (2-3 year olds) with our camping group. She didn't jump up on anyone, loooooooved being around the kids and didn't bark. She liked hitting the trails for hikes and even went swimming too!  Roxy will be a wonderful dog for some lucky family.

Our process is very straightforward, but it does involve a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $300, and a $35 spay/neuter deposit, also apply.
