Meet our “Christmas Crew” – puppies Eve, Star, Noel, Joy, Angel, & Frosty.  These gorgeous pups came to us from KY and all are looking for great families to love them forever.   These pups have the softest, most lustrous coats & are beautiful, inside and out.  Our best guess is that they are some type of shepherd mix.  Based on current size and characteristics, we anticipate they will be medium in size when full grown.  As for individual personalities:

Eve is a gorgeous puppy.  She has a beautiful black coat with reddish undertones & a striking white paw.  She is an absolute sweetheart, who loves people attention as well as running and playing in the yard with her siblings.

Star is the blue merle girl, and she is a total sweetheart.  She loves to be picked up and gives tons of gentle kisses.  This girl will steal your heart!

Noel has beautiful distinctive black and white markings & the cutest little face that you can imagine.  When she first came here, she was a little more reserved than the others; but in less than one day, she was hanging in there with the rest of the gang, looking for love from her foster mom and all the folks coming to visit.  Noel is a gorgeous pup, who is as sweet as they come.

Joy is, well, a total joy.  Beyond being gorgeous with her lustrous black coat with red undertones, she is an absolute love-muffin.  She has stolen her foster mom’s heart with her gentle ways.  She is a happy, “joyful,” loving, gentle pup & is positively irresistible!

Angel is foster mom’s little doll-baby.  She is a loving, well-adjusted pup who does great with all.  She loves to be picked up & also loves to run and play.  When foster mom is holding her, that little tail of hers never stops wagging, and the puppy kisses are never-ending.

And, last, but certainly not least, is Frosty the Snowman.  He is one fabulous, fabulous little man.  With the set of his ears, he seems to look the most shepherd of the group.  He is also the largest pup, but he doesn’t know that.  He is gentle, loving, affectionate and sweet.  Tonight, all he seemed to want was for foster mom to pick him up in her arms and keep loving him up.

Truly, these pups are a fabulous bunch… They remind their foster mom every day that the simplest things in life are the best – and it just doesn’t get any better than these darling puppies.

If you are interested in adopting, please register on our website, www.safeatlast.net.  When you receive your password on your email account, log back on to our website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application (under “Forms/Applications” on the lefthand side of our homepage).  Once we have your application, a volunteer will be in touch (by email) to set up a phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward but involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $350, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.   You must apply with us & be approved PRIOR to meeting the pups.
