This is Ava. She is a sweet 5 month old Golden Retriever mix who weighs a little over 30 lbs.

Ava loves to get lots of attention from her humans and get tummy rubs, hugs and kisses. She loves being outside running and exploring or laying in the sunshine.

Ava and Zsa Zsa (also available for adoption on our website) were in foster care together in Kentucky, and they get along very well; but Ava is a little on the reserved side, and takes a while to warm up to other dogs and humans. Ava is very, very sweet, but needs some time to become more confident. She will make a wonderful family addition, but will need patience from her humans in helping her to get over over her shyness.

We will be in touch by email once we have your application to commence the review process. The process is very straightforward, but it does involve a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $375 and a $35 refundable spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law) also apply.
