This is our cute little Nutkin, or "Nutter Butter" as he is sometimes called. He is a small puppy at only about 4 to 5 lbs at 3 months of age.  Nutkin came to us with Momma Maggie; we are just not sure if he is really one of her offspring or if he was simply fostered by her.  We are also not sure at all on his breed mix -- though we do think he has chi in the mix... While we are not sure about all this, we are sure that this is one incredibly sweet and lovable little man, with tons of personality.  And, just look at his adorable face -- this pup has the most gorgeous smoky gray eyes... what a total cutie-pie!!  He will steal your heart!!

In addition to being a total love-bug, Nutkin is also a very gentle, calm pup.  Although he is twice the size of his foster sister Little Bit, he plays with her very well and lets her try to win most of the short-lived wrestling matches they have.  Nutkin also gets along with the other foster dogs in the household; and he loves going outside and exploring.  Due to his small size, this little boy will need to be in a home without young children, as we do not expect him to get very much larger than he currently is.  Nutkin is a wonderful little man, and we are seeking a great family who will understand the needs of this very small boy.

Once we have your application, we will be in touch by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward, but it does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $375, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Please understand that you cannot meet the pups until you have been approved for adoption, and you cannot be considered for adoption until you have submitted a complete adoption application.
