Meet Hans, also known as Lone Puppy (or LP) since he came in as a solo pup.  Hans hales from KY and our rescue partners there were absolutely in love with this boy.   Hans is a sweetie-pie and appears to be a mix of spaniel and another long-legged large breed.  We think that Hans will be in the large range when full grown.  Of course, we do not have any history on his parents; so, in terms of breed mix and ultimate size, these are our best assessments.  While we are not sure of his heritage, we are sure that Hans is a doll-baby of a pup.  He is happy, affectionate, and loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home.  He will make a great family/companion dog.

If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to Hans for his whole life, no matter what may lie ahead in yours, please register on our website www.safeatlast.net.  When you receive your password on your email account, then log back on to the website to complete the online adoption application.  Once we have your application, we will contact you by email to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward but does involve a phone interview, reference checks, and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $375, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

Hans is being fostered in a private home in Middleburgh, NY.  You cannot meet him until you have been approved for adoption.  And, you cannot be considered for adoption until you have completed the online adoption application.  Also, once approved, adopters are required to come to the foster home to complete the adoption.  We do not ship or deliver our rescues to adopters.

If you have any questions, please email us at info@safeatlast.net.  We are happy to assist.

We appreciate your interest in our rescues and thank you for helping us save shelter pets, one life at a time.
