Meet sweetheart Anna, who came to us from KY along with siblings Abey, Yona, Dakotah, Kimi, Mochican, Onondaga, Pooseatuck, and Tuscarora.  These pups are happy, playful, affectionate babies.  As for breed mix, our best assessment is that they all have labretriever, but there appear to be several dads in this litter -- perhaps shepherd, chow, redbone coonhound...  We cannot guarantee heritage, but be are sure these babies are wonderful pups!! 

Right now (10/31), we estimate that the pups are between 12 and 13 weeks old (as confirmed by our vet).  We expect they will range from the upper end of medium to large when full grown. 

As for Miss Anna, she is a joyful, friendly, outgoing, playful little girl.  She loves racing around in the fenced in yard here, chasing leaves, and romping with her siblings.  She also loves human attention and will race over to foster mommy for lots of loving.  Anna is a true love who reflects the wonderful personality typical of her lab heritage.  Of all the pups of this litter, she looks the most like a lab.  She has a jet black soft, lustrous coat, with just a hint of white on her chin and paw.  The coat on her back is even getting a wave to it... she has the most lustrous, mid-length glossy black coat you could imagine & is positively gorgeous.  Do you have room in your heart and home to welcome this sweet.loving girl?

If you have the time, willingness and ability to commit to Anna – for her whole life – no matter what may lie ahead in yours, please register on www.safeatlast.net (click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage).  When you receive your password on your email account, then log back on to the website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application (click Forms/Applications on the left-hand side of our homepage).  Once we have your application, we will contact you by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $375, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), also apply.

All of these pups are being fostered in private homes; we do not have a centralized facility.  THEREFORE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CANNOT MEET THE PUPS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR ADOPTION.  AND, YOU CANNOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.  ALSO, APPROVED ADOPTERS ARE REQUIRED TO COME TO THE FOSTER HOME (IN SCHOHARIE COUNTY, NY) TO COMPLETE THE ADOPTION.  WE DO NOT DELIVER OR SHIP OUR RESCUE ANIMALS.
