Meet stunning Yona (which is Native American for "Bear"). Yona came to us from KY along with siblings Anna, Abey, Dakotah, Kimi, Mochican, Onondaga, Pooseatuck, and Tuscarora. These pups are happy, playful, affectionate babies. As for breed mix, our best assessment is that they all have retriever, but there appear to be several dads in this litter -- perhaps shepherd, chow, redbone coonhound ?? We cannot guarantee heritage, but be are sure these babies are wonderful pups!!
Right now (10/31), we estimate that the pups are between 12 and 13 weeks old (as comfirmed by our vet). We expect they will range from the upper end of medium to large when full grown.
As for Yona, she is an incredbily happy, affectionate, playful puppy. She loves to play with her siblings, as well as get lots of loving from her humans. Yona is also positively gorgeous -- her soft thick coat has the most gorgeous golden highlights - she looks like someone took a paintbrush and painted gold on her thick dark coat. Yona is incredibly affectionate with her foster mom and the other visitors around here... She is sure to bond very strongly with her people... she will bypass treats for extra loving. This pup is sure to return her family's love 100-fold. If you want a once in a lifetime pup, who will bond with you forever, Yona could be the one for you.
