Meet little Rascal, who hales from KY.  He is a 6.5 yr old pom who gets along with everyone.  Rascal's former "family" wanted to get rid of him.  So, they took him to their vet to be put to sleep.  Luckily, the vet contacted our rescue friends in KY and they got him to safety & asked us if we'd like to take him into our Safe at Last family.  And, so, here is Mr. Rascal all ready for his forever home.

Rascal is being fostered in a home with other dogs and puppies.  He gets along well with everyone, and is a happy lille guy with lots of love to give.  If you are interested in providing Rascal with a loving, forever home for life, we'd love to hear from you.

To pursue Rascal for adoption, please register on www.safeatlast.net (click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage).  When you receive your password on your email account, then log back on to the website with your username and password to complete the online adoption application (click Forms/Applications on the left-hand side of our homepage).  Once we have your application, we will contact you by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward but does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $ 375 also applies.

Rascal is being fostered in a private home; we do not have a centralized facility.  THEREFORE, YOU CANNOT MEET HIM UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR ADOPTION, & YOU CANNOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.  ALSO, ADOPTERS ARE REQUIRED TO COME TO THE FOSTER HOME (IN SCHOHARIE COUNTY, NY) TO COMPLETE THE ADOPTION.  WE DO NOT DELIVER OR SHIP OUR RESCUE ANIMALS.
